Welcome to the Therapeutic Touch® Networks of Canada
The dream of a Canadian organization for Therapeutic Touch® practitioners began when the first regional networks were formed in the early 1980s. With the work of organizing these networks now well underway, time and energy have become available to make the dream become reality.
The Therapeutic Touch® Networks of Canada (TTNC) was incorporated on January 17, 2011. We are a dynamic organization, full of energy and ambition, dedicated to the promotion, practice and acceptance of Therapeutic Touch as developed by Dora Kunz and Dolores Krieger, PhD, RN. We recognize its effectiveness as a non-invasive integrative modality.
Our goal is to act as the umbrella organization for all Canadian Therapeutic Touch networks; coordinating education, research, and acting as a single voice when communicating with other international Therapeutic Touch organizations. The TTNC is a not-for-profit organization.
As of May 2017 the TTNC is now owner of the trademark for the words Therapeutic Touch.
